I haven't been posting much because I've been busy with RL, but also I have nothing to say so here are some points.
- With the world being the way it is, and the local Bollywood station going back to showing classic films instead of recent, I've fallen back into film fandom pretty hard for the moment.
Highlights include seeing The Night of the Hunter
in theatre where the audience was earnestly offended by both its message and aesthetic. Like, educated middle aged middle-class people. Genuinely offended and confused by a 63 year old film. Every time I see it I learn something new though.
Also, I'm taking recs for the most incestuous/weirdly sadomasochistic (gayest I've got covered
even IMDB calls it campy but then it is SUPER GAY you guys) Amitabh Bachchan and most self-congratulatory Rajesh Khanna flicks.
- Usually I'm excited in spring for the new fashion season but this time I was bored before it even began. Clothes have been tapered trousers and some sort of pillowcase-adjacent top/shame blanket and (even worse) O-shaped coats in "neutral" colours for so long I just cannot muster up even anger any more.
So I need to think of something with regard to what I'm doing with vintage clothes because I'm just buying random stuff without any real coherent idea behind it which is something I deplore because it's bad style and also makes things too difficult to wear.
